10 Years The Lisbon MBA

Ten years ago, CATÓLICA-LISBON and NOVA SBE joined efforts to create a world-class MBA that could leverage talent on a global scale.

Both schools stopped offering their own MBAs and formed then an innovative partnership with one main goal, to put Portugal on the map and compete with top business schools, attracting and retaining the best professionals.

Throughout this last decade, The Lisbon MBA has welcomed 820 top students, representing 36 nationalities, and engaging in a total of 11.029 hours of active learning. Our MBA programs have been consistently considered among the best of the world according to the Financial Times’ Rankings, and The Lisbon MBA has proudly supported both schools in their international recognition efforts.

By keeping one of the best student-to-faculty ratios, at The Lisbon MBA we were able to provide a personalized approach to each student’s academic, personal and professional development.

We have seen many students moving to a different geography, industry and function, after the MBA. Also, as a new entrepreneurship wave seems to be sweeping the globe, we have observed several students launching their own projects successfully, projects such as Zaask, PPLCrowdfunding and Viable, to mention a few.

This amazing journey wouldn’t have been possible without the vision and support of our Schools, Sponsors and Faculty, and the trust of our Students and Alumni.

In 2017, we want to take the time to thank all of YOU and celebrate a major milestone – The Lisbon MBA’s 10th anniversary.

To kick start the celebrations, we are launching The Magazine – The Lisbon MBA Review, a platform where business leaders, entrepreneurs, top-notch academics, and talented high-flying students and alumni from all over the world may share knowledge, intelligence and best practices, and may learn from shared content.

We invite you to join us in this year of celebration!

Thank you for making The Lisbon MBA a reality.
