The University of Cape Town (UCT) is South Africa’s oldest university (founded in 1829), and is one of Africa’s leading teaching and research institutions.

The university has 6 faculties – Commerce, Engineering & the Built Environment, Law, Health Sciences, Humanities and Science – which are all supported by the Centre for Higher Education Development that addresses students’ teaching and learning needs.

Selection criteria

The selection criteria are based on the average grades obtained in the mandatory courses completed at the date of the registration for the exchange program.
You can join one of the partner business schools to do elective courses only. Please be aware that some schools have their own requirements, such as, for example, a TOEFL minimum score “5” or more years of professional experience. It is important to note that courses and equivalences are subject to the Lisbon MBA academic approval.
