The Lisbon MBA Executive program has a an international scope, giving students the opportunity of doing elective courses in renowned international business schools, such as the University of San Diego (USA), COPPEAD Graduate School of Business (Brazil), Macquarie Graduate School of Management (Australia) and the University of Cape Town (South Africa), among others.

Located atop a mesa overlooking San Diego, Mission Bay, and the Pacific Ocean, it is in TOP 20 most popular universities for studying abroad according to the Princeton Review. There, you will be able to dive into the West Coast American life, expanding your professional and personal relationships with classmates and faculty.
Founded in 1973, Coppead is a Brazilian business school located in what is commonly considered as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. As one of the main centers of reasearch and teaching in Brazil, this school’s mission is to provide society with the “means to master, expand, cultivate, apply and disseminate the universal patrimony of human knowledge, enabling its students to act as a transformative force.”
Macquarie’s campus is located in the heart of Australia’s largest high-tech district. Sydney was recently ranked as one of the most popular student cities in the world according to the QS Best Student Cities ranking. Students have an immersive learning experience in a 126-hectar campus of open land and state-of-the-art facilities. Well known for its tradition and innovation, Macquarie University is recognized globally as a leading university.
The University of Cape Town (UCT) is South Africa’s oldest university (founded in 1829), and is one of Africa’s leading teaching and research institutions.
The university has 6 faculties – Commerce, Engineering & the Built Environment, Law, Health Sciences, Humanities and Science – which are all supported by the Centre for Higher Education Development that addresses students’ teaching and learning needs.
UCT has more than 80 specialist research units that provide supervision for postgraduate work. It is also home to more than a third of South Africa’s A-rated researchers – academics who are considered world leaders in their fields.
The selection criteria are based on the average grades obtained in the mandatory courses completed at the date of the registration for the exchange program.
You can join one of the partner business schools to do elective courses only. Please be aware that some schools have their own requirements, such as, for example, a TOEFL minimum score “5” or more years of professional experience. It is important to note that courses and equivalences are subject to the Lisbon MBA academic approval.
The experience was worth every minute. The course taught a lot about soft skills, namely about managing with a global mindset.
