Last week, the International MBA 2019 students successfully completed their last assignment – The Business Case Competition, that consists in asking the students to come up with proposals to solve a real-life business case.

 

This Business Case Competition can be related to challenges in areas such as strategy, marketing, operations and logistics, internationalization, or any other relevant topics to the partner organization.

 

This year, The Lisbon MBA had the privilege to partner up with Castelbel.

 

During one week, our students acted as Castelbel consultants, divided into several working groups, and had a chance to apply what they learned during the MBA program.

 

After a thorough and in-depth work by every group of students, the final presentation to a jury panel composed by Prof. Manuela Calhau, Castelbel members, namely, Marta Araújo (CEO), Aquiles Barros (Founder and shareholder), and Francisca Portela (Responsible for Corporate Communications), and Maria José Amich, Executive Director of The Lisbon MBA took place on session took place on December 6th.

 

In the end, the winners were announced and this year, two groups of students came out victorious.
