The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova once again rises in the Financial Times rankings, standing out among the best Executive MBAs in the world.

The Lisbon MBA Executive program has risen again in the EMBA Financial Times ranking 2023, achieving its best result ever, jumping 21 positions to become the 34th best Executive MBA in Europe and 63rd in the world.

It is worth noting that The Lisbon MBA is the only MBA in Portugal that has consistently been ranked in the Financial Times since 2013 and has both programs, its International MBA and Executive MBA, present in these prestigious rankings as a TOP MBA worldwide.

In addition to the rise in its overall position, it should be highlighted the 73% increase in salary three years after program completion, with an average annual gross salary close to USD 182,000 and reflects the seniority positions reached by the Lisbon MBA students 3 years after graduation. It is also important to mention that, when comparing the 2022 rankings to those of 2023, this figure represents the most significant salary increase among all the Executive MBA programs ranked by the Financial Times, reflecting a 35% growth. This positive trend reflects the continuous improvement in the quality of The Lisbon MBA Executive program, as well as the exceptional professional journey of its graduates.

Following current trends, The Lisbon MBA is also among the top 10 MBAs in Europe when measured by its carbon footprint and among the top 30 in ESG rank (Environment, Social, and Governance), which measures the proportion of core courses dedicated to ethical, social, and environmental issues.

With an increasingly global profile that comprises 41% international faculty and 20% international students representing 17 nationalities, The Lisbon MBA Executive catalyzes intercultural competencies among students, enriching the learning experience with diverse perspectives and horizons.

According to Maria José Amich, Executive Director of the Lisbon MBA, “This distinction is extremely important for all our stakeholders, students, faculty, alumni community, management, and corporate partners, and represents the recognition of our continuous investment in the excellence of our offer. The success of our programs is based on a combination of factors, starting with the global scope of our programs and its world-class faculty. Our educational approach goes beyond the expertise of business fundamentals and trends, focusing on developing management and leadership skills that organizations seek in their managers to achieve sustainable growth and thrive in this ever-changing environment, creating a positive impact in business and society.”
