The Lisbon MBA International full-time program comprises a 2-month Action Learning Period. Students can choose an MBA-level internship in a company, an International Consulting Lab (a real-life consulting project with MBA students from top international business schools), or an Entrepreneurship project to start their own business.
This year, three of our International MBA full-time students chose the International Consulting Lab for their Action Learning project and worked with three other MBA students from Insper, in São Paulo, on an international consulting project for Galp.
In order to respond to climate and energy challenges, Galp is committed to move towards a low carbon economy. In its ambition to play a decisive role in the energy transition, Galp launched The Lisbon MBA the challenge to analyze the low-carbon fuel market in Brazil. The conclusions of this project were presented last Thursday and will be used as guidance for future business decisions by Galp.
The International Consulting Lab aims to give students the opportunity to learn real-life business dynamics in a multi-cultural context and put their business management learnings into practice.
The Lisbon MBA has built up relationships and forged networks with some of the most well respected companies. From a company’s perspective, it is enriching to partner with global talent from local and international business schools who can bring a fresh perspective into old and new business challenges.
