In an insightful interview with BusinessBecause, Sarim Hussain, Customer Success Account Manager at Microsoft, discusses how The Lisbon MBA has profoundly influenced his career journey.

 

Originally from India, Sarim chose to pursue The Lisbon MBA International for its global perspective and diverse array of experiences. One standout opportunity was the month-long immersion program at MIT Sloan, where he engaged deeply with cutting-edge business strategies. Inspired by this experience, Sarim went on to co-found Flap, a blockchain startup that quickly secured pre-seed funding.

 

As part of The Lisbon MBA’s action learning component, Sarim engaged in a two-month internship at an IT consultancy firm in Portugal, where he addressed real-world challenges in cloud computing. This hands-on learning approach significantly developed his leadership skills and boosted his confidence for a career in technology, leading him to join Microsoft soon after completing his MBA journey.
