Pedro Oliveira is the new Academic Director on behalf of Católica-Lisbon

After almost five years of full commitment to The Lisbon MBA, José Filipe Corrêa Guedes leaves his position as Academic Director on behalf of CATÓLICA-LISBON. We want to thank him for his enthusiasm and sterling work that helped us position The Lisbon MBA as one of the best MBA programs in the world. His efforts and strategic view are a part of our success and for that we want to express our gratitude and wish him all the best.

Pedro Oliveira, Professor and Associate Dean for Research at CATÓLICA-LISBON, is the new Academic Director for CATÓLICA-LISBON.

With a PhD in Operations, Technology and Innovation Management from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Pedro is a very active participant in the Lisbon MBA, teaching Operations Management to both the part time and the full time programs for several years now. He was also an International Faculty Fellow at MIT Sloan School of Management. In addition to his academic activities, Pedro is also an entrepreneur: he founded Patient Innovation, a platform and social network to facilitate sharing of solutions developed by patients and caregivers and co-founded PPL Crowdfunding Portugal, with three former students of the Lisbon MBA-FT.
