Since 2018, all higher education students can apply to a Portuguese State loan, benefiting from low-interest rates through a European supported credit line.
These conditions are available to all students, from public or private institutions, and the loan can serve Professional and Technical courses, bachelor, masters, and doctorate degrees.

The value of the loan can vary between 1.000 and 5.000 euros per year, with the maximum value reaching the equivalent to the sum of all course years together. For example, if you decide to take the Executive MBA program at The Lisbon MBA and get a 5.000 euros loan, you will receive 10.000 euros in total, since the course has two years.

This credit line is available for students taking their high education degrees in the North, Center, and Alentejo, which are the three intervention regions of the Programa Operacional Capital Humano(PO CH) – Human Capital Operational Program.
It is possible to request the loan during the course and the value will be proportional to the years or months left to conclude it.
