ReImaginar Portugal – Agriculture: how can Portugal accelerate its recovery through this resilient sector?

Following the ReImaginar Portugal initiative, that compiled 30 contributions to help relaunch the Portuguese economy, and the discussion of some of those ideas in a conference that took place on November 2nd, The Lisbon MBA Alumni Club is taking another step to take matters into action.
Within this initiative, the Alumni Club will be hosting a webinar where a very important sector in our economy will be debated: Agriculture. This initiative has as a co-host Consulai, a well-known Agriculture consultancy company.
How can Portugal accelerate its recovery through this resilient sector, essential to our economy, and that has been experiencing a very relevant transformational stage?

Key Note Speaker: Her Excellency, the Portuguese Agriculture Minister, Dra. Maria do Céu Antunes, who will bring a strategic and up to date vision of this sector.
Debate Panel:
Eng. Eduardo Oliveira e Sousa (President of CAP – Confederação dos Agricultores de Portugal), to share the context of production in different realities.
Eng. António Serrano (CEO of Jerónimo Martins Agroalimentar), who will talk about new opportunities in the agro-industry sector – to be confirmed.
Eng. Pedro Santos (General Manager of Consulai), with his profound knowledge of several sectors and how agricultural policies can be applied within companies.
Dr. João Gomes da Silva (Sogrape Board Member), who will bring the vision of a market leader and how this crises was faced in their multiple channels, forcing a new “re-imagination” of the business itself.
Eng. António Corrêa Nunes (CEO of Treemond), author of the contribution related to this sector within the ReImaginar Portugal initiative and The Lisbon MBA alumnus.
