The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova reaffirms its outstanding position in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2025, reaching the 24th position in Europe and remaining the only Portuguese MBA present in the international ranking since 2013.

The program stands out for its strong international component, ranking 3rd in the world for International Experience, as a result of its partnership with MIT Sloan, ranked 6th best MBA in the world, and its collaborations with other top schools. These partnerships offer The Lisbon MBA Católica|Nova students exclusive exchange opportunities on five continents, broadening their global exposure and multicultural experiences.

The return on investment is considerable: students recorded an 89% salary increase three years after graduation, with an average gross annual salary of 135,825 USD. In addition, The Lisbon MBA achieved a remarkable 97% employability rate after six months of completing the program.

Diversity is one of the pillars of the International MBA’s success, with 62% international students and 42% women from 17 different nationalities, with diverse academic backgrounds and professional experiences, and a world-class faculty drawn from CATÓLICA-LISBON and Nova SBE schools, 40% international, further enriching the learning experience. The program also stands out regarding sustainability, ranking 19th in the world in the ‘carbon footprint’ criterion.

According to Maria José Amich, Executive Director of The Lisbon MBA, “it is with great pride that we have once again been recognized as one of the best MBAs in the world, and the only one in Portugal, having been continuously present in the prestigious Financial Times ranking since 2013. We continue to expand our international partnerships, including new markets, and increase class diversity, which contributes to enriching classroom discussion and teamwork as a fundamental aspect, along with the ‘action learning’ methodology. And we also continue to strengthen the development of behavioral, relational and leadership skills, which foster adaptability, resilience, creativity and agility in complex problem solving.”

For Filipe Santos, Dean of CATÓLICA-LISBON, and Pedro Oliveira, Dean of Nova SBE, “this top position for The Lisbon MBA reflects the success of the program and the excellent professional careers of its graduates. It also reflects the success of this partnership that brings together three world-renowned schools to position Portugal on the map of MBAs of excellence, attracting talent from around the world to Lisbon. The future is built by developing talents and more humane, innovative, and inclusive leaders capable of leading purposefully. CATÓLICA-LISBON and Nova SBE will continue to reinforce their position as world-renowned business schools, working in partnership with the best talent to develop an MBA of excellence.”
