“The Lisbon MBA is #1 in International Experience”

Maria José Amich arrived at The Lisbon MBA in May, with the ambition to attract more international students to the MBA programs and to consolidate the position of The Lisbon MBA as number one in the world in International Experience (according to the Financial Times ranking). Additionally, the goal to increase the number of women taking an MBA was also set, aligned with The Lisbon MBA commitment to diversity.
Improving the students’ international experience is one of the top priorities and the driver that motivates the development of new partnerships with foreign companies and universities. The aim is to enrich the students’ options to have an international experience during their MBA studies. “Our MBA programs are the only ones in Europe that offer an Immersion Program at MIT. On top of this, we have partnerships with Universities in China, Mexico, and Brazil, so our students can experience 3 continents in one year. We want to increase partnerships with other top universities in other countries to offer more options to our students”, says Maria José Amich.
In a global scenario, the challenges of The Lisbon MBA are many. It is important to enhance relationships with all stakeholders and further potentiate the strength and prestige of the institution among the business community and its growing alumni.
