Luís Barreto Xavier, Alumni of The Lisbon MBA and Executive Director of Julius Baer, wrote an article for Human Resources Magazine, where he shares his opinion on the lack of long-term strategic vision and a strategy for growth for Portugal, and how through the investment in the Education and Training sector the country can reach its economic potential.
“A good example of the lack of strategic vision for the Education and Training sector is the fact that we have a recognized quality higher education, such that many recent graduates from various areas (engineering, medicine, nursing, economics and management, among others) find jobs in other countries (earning more) immediately after graduating.”
