The International MBA 2021 class started their Welcome & Orientation week, taking the first steps into their transformational journey!

 

Both the Deans of Católica-Lisbon, Prof. Filipe Santos, and Nova SBE, Prof. Daniel Traça, as well as the Coordination Council of The Lisbon MBA, Executive Director Maria José Amich and Academic Directors Professor João Borges de Assunção and Professor Paulo Soares de Pinho, welcomed the students at the Católica-Lisbon campus.

 

After the welcome session, Paula Lourenço, Career Management Director, gave an insightful session about the role of the Career Management Centre in partnering with our students to succeed in achieving a meaningful and life-long career fulfilment. In the afternoon our International MBA students were introduced to Portuguese History in a passionate and enthusiastic class given by Professor José Carlos Mateus.

 

This year’s class has 36 students from 16 different nationalities, with diverse backgrounds such as Engineering, Sciences, Economics, as well as Social Sciences, and professional contexts that range from tourism healthcare, banking, telecom and consultancy, among others.
