The Lisbon MBA distinguished at Amadeus Brighter Awards

Pedro Oliveira, professor at Católica-Lisbon and The Lisbon MBA Academic Director, was distinguished, together with Daniel Traça, Dean of Nova SBE, as “Personality of the Year in Education” for their contribution in the Tourism Innovation Competition, during the Amadeus Brighter Awards 2015, which took place on 14th January, in Lisbon. More information HERE.

About the Tourism Innovation Competition:

An application which analyzes Instagram information, other that monitors application usage of smartphones and the crossing of Booking, TripAdvisor and Twitter data are the finalists of the world contest of ideas to measure the behavior of tourists. These three projects were presented and the final winner was announced on September 18, 2015, at the ‘Tourism Innovation Competition – International Conference’, an event that place at Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon.

In total, the Tourism Innovation Competition received 59 valid applications from 22 different countries: Portugal, USA, India, Germany, Brazil, Vietnam, Switzerland, China, Angola, Poland, France, Israel, Italy, Croatia, Canada, Turkey, Kenya, Ghana, Mexico, England, Barbados and Germany.
